LTFRB orders Grab to pay P10 million in penalties for overcharging passengers

(Eagle News) — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has ordered Grab to pay P10 million in penalties for overcharging its passengers. The LTFRB also ordered Grab to reimburse its passengers for the P2-per-minute travel charge through rebates. LTFRB approves P1 provisional fare increase for PUJs for first 4 kilometers

(Eagle News) — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board on Wednesday, July 4, announced the approval of a provisional P1 increase for the first four kilometers for public utility jeepneys. LTFRB Chair Martin Delgra III said the order, which will be released tomorrow, applies to only select jeepneys. He said these were the jeepneys plying the National Capital Region, Region 3 and Region 4 routes.
