(Eagle News)–Senator Kiko Pangilinan on Monday, June 18, said loitering was no longer a crime. Pangilinan made the statement after President Rodrigo Duterte ordered the police to intensify operations against “tambays” on the streets. “Para po sa mga tagapagpatupad ng batas, hindi na po krimen ang tumambay, o mag-loiter. MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered police officers to arrest anyone who drinks alcoholic beverages on streets. Duterte made the order as part of his efforts to ensure peace and order nationwide. The President said that those who drink alcohol often become arrogant and end up being embroiled in fights. Also ordered arrested were those who loiter on streets.
