Nationwide ban on drinking liquor on streets, ordered by Pres. Duterte
MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered police officers to arrest anyone who drinks alcoholic beverages on streets. Duterte made the order as part of his efforts to ensure peace and order nationwide. The President said that those who drink alcohol often become arrogant and end up being embroiled in fights. Also ordered arrested were those who loiter on streets.
