(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday, Sept. 21, visited the victims of a landslide in Naga City, Cebu. The President was accompanied by Department of the Interior and Local Government officer in charge Eduardo Año, Special Assistant to the President Bong Go, Office of the Civil Defense Deputy Administrator Nicanor Faeldon, among others. (Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte is slated to visit Itogon, Benguet where a landslide that buried a chapel claimed at least 33 lives. Duterte will reportedly make the visit on Tuesday, Sept. 18. Earlier, Duterte made an aerial inspection of areas affected by “Ompong,” which make landfall in northern Luzon. “Ompong” left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Saturday.
