Filipina killed in hit-and-run incident in Toronto
(Eagle News)–A 50-year-old Filipina died in a hit-and-run incident in Toronto, Canada on Monday, June 11. CTV News identified the victim as Isabel Soria. According to the report, Soria was hit by what witnesses said was a silver Ford F150 driven by a male in his 30s in the intersection of Dufferin Street and Briar Hill Avenue. The driver fled the scene. Soria was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to injuries.

At least five, including 4-month-old baby, killed in Bacoor fire
(Eagle News)—Five people, including a four-month-old baby, were killed in a fire that hit a residential area in Bacoor, Cavite on Tuesday, April 24. The fatalities were identified as Christopher Moyano, his live-in partner Shirley Abalos and their three children, including the baby.
