QUEZON City, Philippines – The Philippine National Police admitted that several of its personnel committed mistakes during the dispersal of protesting farmers in Kidapawan. According to the PNP, it is not part of their dispersal policy to fire guns which several police did on Kidapawan. Senators began their own investigation as to what really happened during the bloody dispersal operation of 5,000 farmers who barricaded the Cotabato-Davao highway in Kidapawan City wherein three farmers died and scores injured.
