MMDA arrests 4, 189 jaywalkers in 2 months
MAKATI City, Philippines – According to the Metro Manila Development Authority, 4, 189 jaywalkers were arrested ever since it implemented its anti-jaywalking policy last January 2016. MMDA maintains that jaywalking contributes significantly to the traffic problem in Metro Manila and asked the public to make use of the pedestrian lanes, overpasses, footbridges and others.
