India PM Modi visits IRRI in Los Baños, Laguna

IRRI warns against food crisis

LAGUNA, Philippines – According to the International Rice Research Institute warns that there is a possibility of the recurrence of a worldwide food crisis due to the strong El Niño phenomenon. IRRI cites the increase the price of rice due to shortage as a precursor of the said crisis.
