MMDA: Motorists who illegally park in M. Manila to be slapped higher fines starting today

(Eagle News)–Drivers or owners who illegally park their vehicles in Metro Manila can now expect higher fines. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said starting today, Wednesday,  Dec. 19, vehicles parked illegally will now pay  P1,000 from the original fine of P200. Hike in fines for illegal parking in Metro Manila approved

The fine for attended illegally parked cars was increased from P200 to P1000. MMDA to file charges against motorists who illegally park vehicles along public roads

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Metro Manila Development Authority will file charges against motorists who will illegally park their vehicles in secondary roads. According to the MMDA, this said step is reasonable as there are still many violators after clearing operations.
