House of Representatives grants immunity to DOJ witnesses
QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) – Speaker of the House of Representatives Pantaleon Alvarez has granted immunity to the six witnesses presented by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on the alleged illegal drug trade at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP). With the grant of immunity, no case may be filed against the witnesses based on any of their statements made during the House hearing.
