House Speaker Belmonte on Congresswoman Arroyo

In the Resolution issued by the 4th Division of the Anti-Graft Court, Belmonte was given 10 days to explain why he did not take action on the suspension order issued against Arroyo. The Sandiganbayan also ordered Belmonte to implement the 90-day suspension order against Arroyo. The suspension order was issued last June 26.

House Speaker Sonny Belmonte praised Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada’s actions when said mayor went to Hong Kong to personally deliver his apology to Hong Kong regarding the 2010 hostage crisis. Hong Kong accepted the apology and has lifted the travel ban against Philippines.
