QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is finalizing details in its plan to directly handle the management of traffic flow in Metro Manila. Transportation spokesperson Cherry Mercado said that the department already met with different government agencies like the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) for their suggestions in order to decongest the traffic flow in Metro Manila.
The Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) is already preparing for the coming of the holiday season, with the accompanying traffic situation.
