Rainy season to begin in mid-June

QUEZON City, Philippines, May 18 (Eagle News) — According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the wet season may possibly start on the middle of June due to the continuing effects of the weak El Niño.

Mostly fair weather prevails on Friday

The weather bureau announced on its Friday advisory that the eastern section of Luzon and Visayas will continue to experience the effects of the easterlies.
