Death toll in Syria ‘gas attack’ rises to 58: monitor
BEIRUT, Lebanon (AFP) — A suspected gas attack on the rebel-held town of Khan Sheikhun in northwestern Syria on Tuesday killed 58 civilians, including 11 children, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitor said. Dozens more were suffering the effects of the attack, with medical sources reporting respiratory problems and symptoms including fainting, vomiting and foaming at the mouth, the monitor said.
