The Bureau of Fire Protection said the blaze that hit the structure on Planters Street in Barangay Rincon past 8 a.m. Authorities are still trying to put out the fire, which has reached the third alarm, at press time.

A report from the Bureau of Fire Protection said Merrian Vargas, 55, sustained burns in her right arm in the blaze in a bungalow in Green Meadows Subdivision in Barangay Ugong Norte. The fire, which destroyed P500,000 worth of properties, started at 4:07 a.m. A fire-out was declared at 5:30 a.m.
