(Eagle News) — Senator Manny Pacquiao is now the chair of the Senate’s committee on ethics. Senator Sherwin Gatchalian was also elected a member of the panel that covers the actions of senators and the reputation of the Senate in general. Pacquiao replaced now-Senate President Tito Sotto, who, based on tradition, should no longer chair a committee and was now deemed a member of each panel. Gatchalian replaced Pacquiao as member of the panel.
