3.9-magnitude quake hits Camarines Sur early Sunday

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Camarines Sur early Sunday, Sept. 20. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 5:48 a.m., had its epicenter 14 kilometers southeast of Bacatan. It had a depth of four kilometers. An intensity I was reported in Legazpi City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were so far reported.  

3.7-magnitude quake strikes off La Union early Saturday

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off La Union early Saturday, Sept. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 3:49 a.m., had its epicenter 25 kilometers northwest of San Fernando. It had a depth of 61 kilometers and was tectonic in origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
