The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 36 kilometers southeast of Prieto Diaz at 5:47 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 3 kilometers. PHIVOLCS said no damage nor aftershock were expected.

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, Feb. 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 90 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos at 1:16 p.m. The earthquake was of tectonic origin and had a depth of focus of 52 kilometers. (Eagle News)–A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck southern Leyte on Tuesday, Feb. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 37 kilometers southwest of Limasawa at 7:20 a.m. The quake had a depth of focus of 11 kilometers. No aftershocks nor damage was expected.

(Eagle News)–A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Feb. 12. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck 88 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 4:01 p.m. Depth of focus was 48 kilometers.
