4.0-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte early Wednesday, Nov. 17. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:18 a.m. Its epicenter was 16 kilometers southeast of General Luna. The depth of focus was 23 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

3.4-magnitude strikes off Zamboanga del Norte early Sunday

(Eagle News) — A 3.4-magnitude struck off Zamboanga del Norte early Sunday, Nov. 14. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:24 a.m. PHIVOLCS said the quake’s epicenter was 58 kilometers northwest of Siocon. The depth of focus was 24 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

4.0-magnitude quake strikes off Batanes

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Batanes on Saturday, Nov. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 6:28 a.m. The depth of focus was 20 kilometers. The earthquake was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.  

4.4-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Wednesday, Nov. 10. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 6:36 a.m. It had its epicenter 84 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos. The depth of focus was 71 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.7-magnitude quake hits Dinagat Islands early Monday, Nov. 8

(Eagle News) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Dinagat Islands early Monday, Nov. 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:09 a.m. It had its epicenter 14 kilometers northwest of San Jose. The depth of focus was 215 kilometers. According to PHIVOLCS, the following instrumental intensities were reported: Intensity II – Borongan City, Eastern Samar Intensity I – Catbalogan City, Samar No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Zambales early Sunday, Nov. 7. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 3:59 a.m. It had its epicenter 54 kilometers southwest of San Antonio. The depth of focus was eight kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

3.9-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Norte early Saturday, Nov. 6

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte early Saturday, Nov. 6. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 2:25 a.m. It had its epicenter 71 kilometers southeast of General Luna. The depth of focus was eight kilometers. According to PHIVOLCS, the earthquake was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.5-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Friday, Nov. 5. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake struck at 1:05 p.m. It had its epicenter 95 kilometers northeast of Bayabas. The depth of focus was one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.7-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Friday, Oct. 29. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 12:33 p.m. The epicenter was 34 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 185 kilometers. The following instrumental intensities were reported: Instrumental Intensity: Intensity I – General Santos City No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

4.2-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Thursday, Oct. 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:13 a.m. It had its epicenter 222 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 32 kilometers. The earthquake was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.8-magnitude earthquake strikes Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) — A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Tuesday, Oct. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 1:51 p.m. It had its epicenter 16 kilometers northeast of Caraga. The depth of focus was 32 kilometers. PHIVOLCS said the earthquake was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

4.4-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Monday, Oct. 25. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 5:54 a.m. It had its epicenter 393 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 94 kilometers. According to PHIVOLCS, the earthquake was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
