Road repairs continue this weekend – DPWH

QUEZON CITY, 21 November (PIA) – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will continue road repairs and reblocking starting 10:00 PM of Friday, November 21 until Monday, November 25 at 5:00 AM. DPWH continues road-reblocking

The Department of Public Works and Highways finally continued its road-reblocking operations after it was postponed due to continuous rain. Motorists are advised to avoid the following routes and to make use of alternative routes.

DPWH Personnel urged to respect historical sites

The Department of Public Works and Highways reminded their personnel to put into consideration the preservation of historical sites and structures in the implementation of the department’s projects. DPWH Secretary Rogelio Singson said that historical sites and structures should be protected because of their value to the country’s history and heritage. He added that preservation of historical sites should be considered from the feasibilty study and planning phase to avoid delays during the construction period. […]

500,000 new jobs offered by DPWH

Because of the large numbers of infrastructure projects to be implemented this year, an estimated 536, 523 workers will be given employment, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways.
