Albayalde: Over 300 policemen sacked for illegal drug use

(Eagle News)—-Over 300 policemen have been sacked after they tested positive for shabu, Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde said on Monday, Sept. 25. According to Albayalde, 349 police officers were dismissed from the service because of this from January 2016 to September 2018. “There will be no second chances” if a policeman tests positive for illegal substances, Albayalde, a known disciplinarian, said.    

Ronda, Cebu police chief, others sacked

(Eagle News) –Several policemen have been relieved over the killing of Ronda, Cebu Mayor Mariano Blanco in his office in the municipal hall located only a few meters from the police station.
