Fight against corruption, mere political move
The group Volunteers against Crime and Corruption believes that DILG Secretary Mar Roxas is only using the issue of fight against corruption to campaign early for the 2016 elections. According to VACC Chairman Dante Jimenez, Roxas is losing his direction since he started mixing the fight against corruption with his personal ambition. Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas is ready to offer reward money to anyone who can give information that will lead to the arrest of the seven other police suspects involved in the so-called EDSA “Hulidap” that happened on September 1.” President Aquino himself had approved the offer of the reward money.
