(Eagle News) — Oil companies announced a price increase in their petrol products this week. Thirty to 40 centavos per liter will be added to the present rates of gasoline, while 60 to 70 centavos will be added to diesel prices. Fifty to 60 centavos will be added to kerosene prices. This is the first oil price increase since the three-time rollback last month.

Sources say the increase per liter both in diesel and kerosene would range from P1.50 to P1.60 and P0.75 to P0.90 in gasoline. Simula bukas, 6:00 ng umaga, magtataas ang Shell ng P1.20 sa kada litro ng gasolina; P1.25 sa kada litro ng kerosene at P1.00 naman sa kada litro ng diesel. Shell will implement a rollback on the price of diesel this midnight. Said rollback is pegged at 30 centavos per liter. Other oil companies are expected to follow.
Consumers should expect a roll back on diesel prices this week. Said rollback is expected to be around 20 – 30 centavos.
The price of petroleum products increased today at 6 in the morning. Petron, Shell, and Total increased the price of their diesel by 25 centavos per liter, while Petron and Shell increased the price of kerosene and gas by 15 centavos per liter.
