Aquino signs law creating DICT

QUEZON City, Philippines – President Benigno S. Aquino III signed the Republic Act 10844 creating a Department of Information and Communication Technology which aims to supervise the information and communication technology. The creation of the department spells the dissolution of several government agencies with similar functions.
