The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:58 a.m. The epicenter was 35 kilometers southeast of New Bataan. The depth of focus, meanwhile, was 13 kilometers. 4.0-magnitude quake hits Davao de Oro
(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao de Oro on Thursday, Oct. 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 4:51 p.m., had its epicenter 16 kilometers southeast of Pantukan. It had a depth of 19 kilometers. An instrumental intensity I was recorded in Kidapawan City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
