Philippines loses 10 places in corruption index
According to the latest survey conducted by Transparency International, the Philippines lost 10 places in the Corruption Perception Index despite the “Daang Matuwid” advocated by the Aquino Administration. From the 85th rank, the Philippines reached 95th this year. In Southeast Asia, the Philippines and Malaysia are perceived as the most corrupt countries this year. Philippines ranks better in Corruption Perception Index
In a survey conducted by Transparency International, Philippines ranked in the 85th place out of the 170 countries included in the survey. This is an improvement from the country’s former rank in the 94th place.
