Pagputol ng puno ng niyog mahigpit nang ipinagbabawal

QUEZON CITY (Eagle News) – Simula noong Martes, Enero 3, 2017 ay mahigpit nang ipinagbabawal ang pagpuputol ng puno ng niyog. Ito ay ayon sa Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA). Layunin nito na maingatan ang coconut industry sa bansa dahil higit na mas marami ang napuputol na puno kaysa naitatanim. ‘Glenda’ damage to Albay’s coco industry pegged at Php1.3-B

LEGAZPI CITY, July 16 (PNA) –Albay’s coconut industry lost some Php 1.3 billion to typhoon ‘Glenda’, affecting 70% of 900 million trees, covering 9,415 hectares.
