(Eagle News)–Two of the three convicts in the Chiong sisters rape-slay who were released under the Good Conduct Time Allowance Law have surrendered. Ariel Balansag and Alberto Caño are reportedly already under custody of the Bureau of Corrections. The third, Josman Aznar, has yet to surrender. The others convicted for the crime were  Paco Larrañaga, Rowen Wesley Adlawan, James Andrew  Uy and James Anthony Uy. Larrañaga, who is of Spanish descent, is serving his sentence in Spain. […]

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte is slated to conduct his own investigation into the release of convicts of under the Good Conduct Time Allowance law. Senator Bong Go, Duterte’s former longterm aide, said the President was particularly interested in knowing if there was corruption in their release.
