Various provinces prepare for “Chedeng”
A sea travel ban was implemented by Albay while in Aurora, surfing has been banned as a precaution for the arrival of “Chedeng”. Other provinces also conduct their own preparations for the coming of the super typhoon.
“Chedeng” maintains strength
As “Chedeng” continues on its north-northeast path, said storm managed to maintain its strength. The PAGASA warned coastal areas in the eastern part of the Philippines to prepare against storm surges.
Various areas placed on alert due to “Chedeng”
According to the Department of Interior and Local Government, all 37 provinces that will be affected by “Chedeng” were already alerted. These includes those areas which are within the 75 and 150 kilometer radius of the said storm.
Gov’t agencies, LGUs prepare for “Chedeng”
Various government agencies and local government units are on high alert in preparation for the arrival of “Chedeng”.

Food packs and non-food items, already prepared for typhoon victims
The Department of Social Welfare and Development has already prepared its food packs and non-food items worth 271.4 million pesos for the possible victims of “Chedeng”.
