180 passengers evacuated from Cebu Pacific plane at Iloilo airport
(Eagle News) — More than 100 passengers were evacuated from a plane upon its arrival at the Iloilo International Airport on Friday. In an advisory, Cebu Pacific said the passengers of flight 5J461 from Manila to Iloilo were evacuated at 11:18 p.m. It did not say what prompted the emergency evacuation. “All passengers are accounted for and are safe. They are being attended to by airport personnel,” it added.

The Cebu Pacific paid in full the 52.1 million pesos fine imposed by the government to the said airline due to the numerous flight delays and cancellations during the recent holiday season.
