BOC seven-month revenue collection grows 18%
MANILA, September 1 (PNA) — Revenue collection of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) in the first seven months of 2014 grew by 18 percent or Php203.86 billion year-on-year. Bureau of Customs expands operating hours
Following the directive of the Department of FInance, the Bureau of Customs will expand its operating hours from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening, 7 days a week.
BOC Extends Port Operations in Manila
The Bureau of Customs extended the operating hours of the Port of Manila and the Manila International Container Port to help those affected by the truck ban in Manila. Customs commissioner John Sevilla said that since Thursday,operations in the two ports started at 8 am., and ended at 9 p.m. On Saturdays, operations start at 9 a.m. and end at 5 p.m.
