Dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulad, mahahati sa anim na distrito ang lalawigan ng Batangas mula sa dating apat. Ito ay kung ganap ng magiging batas ang House Bill No.3750 o ang panukala ng paghahati sa lalawigan sa anim na distrito. Magnitude 5.7 earthquake hits Batangas; Intensity 3 felt in Metro Manila

  A magnitude 5.7 earthquake that was centered 22 kilometers south of Calatagan, Batangas struck around 7:52 PM Wednesday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs). Earthquake Hits Batangas

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, a magnitude 4.5 earthquake hit the southeastern part of Calatagan, Batangas. Meanwhile, intensity earthquakes hit the islands of Looc and Lubang, Occidental Mindoro. No injuries were recorded.
