(Eagle News)–An orange rainfall warning has been hoisted over Zambales, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Monday, Aug. 20. PAGASA said a yellow rainfall warning, on the other hand, is up over Bataan. Light to moderate rains with occasional heavy rains are currently affecting Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac , Nueva Ecija, Laguna, Cavite and Batangas. The state weather bureau said these may persist for two to three hours.

(Eagle News)—Executive judges in areas “severely affected” by the continuous rains and flooding such as Marikina may exercise their discretion to suspend work. This is according to Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio, in a Twitter post on Monday, Aug. 13.
