PNP: Arrest warrant out for former Marilao, Bulacan vice mayor, but he resists arrest

(Eagle News) — A former vice mayor of Marilao, Bulacan has holed himself up in his house as authorities prepared to serve a warrant for his arrest. Authorities said Andre Santos, who has a pending warrant for qualified theft, has refused to go with them. Santos instead locked himself up on the second floor of his house and told authorities that he was armed. The police are currently negotiating for his surrender.
