Angat Dam continues to lose water despite rains
The water in the Angat Dam continues to fall below optimal levels despite the heavy rains in Metro Manila due to little of the rainwater falling in the watershed area of the said dam. The government’s cloud-seeding operations help alleviate the situation in other dams in Luzon.
Angat Dam may stop supplying water for irrigation
According to the Angat Dam management, the said dam may reduce or totally stop providing water for irrigation purposes as water levels continue to go down. However, the dam will continue to provide water for residential purposes.
