(Eagle News) — These pictures provided by the Department of Transportation show the country’s first-ever “eco-airport.” According to the DOTr, the Bohol-Panglao International Airport, which sits on a 22-hectare property in Panglao, can accommodate as many as two million passengers a year, more than double the annual 800,000 passenger capacity of Tagbilaran airport. The DOTr said the airport, which will be inaugurated today, Nov. 27, will start catering to international flights on Wednesday, Nov. 28.
