AFP rescues two Indonesian captives of Abu Sayyaf

QUEZON City ,Philippines (Eagle News) — The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) was able to intercept members of the Abu Sayyaf Group and rescue two Indonesian captives of the ASG. The two Indonesians were abducted by the ASG last November 2016 off Lahad Datu, Sabah. The two fishermen rescued by the military are now in Camp Teodulfo Bautista Station Hospital for their medical examination. https://youtu.be/51gbElgyTJ8

Malacañang reiterates commitment to rescue remaining hostages from Abu Sayyaf

MANILA, Philippines — Malacanang has reiterated its commitment to rescue the remaining hostages being held by the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG). According to reports, the group has circulated online a video showing the beheading of Canadian John Ridsdel last week.
