Surigao City quake causes more than Php 100 million damage

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council or NDRRMC estimated that the damage to infrastructure caused by the magnitude 6.7 earthquake that struck Surigao City had already reached Php 108.45 million. Taiwan quake death toll rises to 94

TAIWAN, China (CCTV) — The death toll from the 6.7-magnitude earthquake that struck southern Taiwan last Saturday had climbed to 94 as of 11:30 on Friday, according to local authorities. There are still 30 people missing, officials said. On Friday morning, drizzle came to the city, adding difficulties to the rescue which has run for 150 hours.
