(Eagle News)–A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Friday, May 31. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 92 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 6:12 p.m. Depth of focus of the quake was 72 kilometers. An intensity V was reported in Mati, while an intensity II was reported in Bislig.
