(Eagle News)–A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck Ilocos Norte on Sunday, March 3. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit northwest of Burgos at 3:46 a.m. The earthquake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of focus of 22 kilometers.
