(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Wednesday, Sept. 4. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 66 kilometers southeast of General Luna at 7:33 a.m. Depth of focus was 13 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 20 kilometers southwest of Governor Generoso at 3:08 p.m. The quake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 158 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.

PHIVOLCS said the quake struck 108 kilometers southwest of Sipalay at 10:28 p.m. The depth of focus of the quake, which was of tectonic origin, was 46 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
