COMELEC sets 10-hour voting time for May elections

Based on the decision issued by the Commission on Elections en banc, the voting time on May 9, 2016 will last only for 10 hours, with the polling precincts opening at 7 in the morning and closing at 5 in the afternoon. Poe disappointed in COMELEC’s decision

Senator Grace Poe admitted that she is disappointed at the decision of the Commission on Election Second Division disqualifying her candidacy in the 2016 election. Said division decided that she did not qualify with the ten-year residency requirements found in the Constitution.
