NAIA runway reopens after Xiamen plane “hard landing”

(Eagle News)—The Ninoy Aquino International Airport runway where a Xiamen plane was stuck after it made a hard landing on Thursday night was reopened to planes on Saturday, Aug. 18. “NAIA’s international runway 06/24 is now open for flight operations,” the Manila International Airport Authority said, almost two days after Xiamen Air Flight MF8667 overshot the runway amid bad weather.
