(Eagle News) — The Social Security System will not implement its proposed monthly contribution hike this month.
According to SSS President and Executive Officer Emmanuel Dooc, this is because the President has yet to issue an official order on the planned contribution rate increase.
The proposed contribution rate was supposed to be increased by 1.5 percent, to 12.5 percent.
