(Eagle News)–Several Filipinos were among those injured in a recent bus accident in the border between Egypt and Israel, the Department of Foreign Affairs said on Saturday, Oct. 26.
The DFA did not say exactly how many were hurt in the bus crash near St. Catherine’s Monastery in Sinai, Egypt, but said an official of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines was included.
The DFA identified the official as CBCP Secretary General Marvin Mejia.
The DFA said it was already providing assistance to those affected.
