St. Petersburg, Russia (CCTV) — Russia’s famous aerobatic team “Swifts” celebrated the 105th anniversary of the establishment of Russian Air Force with an aviation show Sunday in St. Petersburg.
One of Russia’s top aerobatic teams, Swifts, also connected with the Russian Air Force, entertained crowds at the event and won warm applause with its amazing performance, which featured the iconic formation of six MiG-29 fighters.
According to Russian military, the air show in St. Petersburg was the first performance to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of Russian Air Force, and a larger-scale celebration will be held in Moscow on Aug. 12.
