Robredo scheduled to visit those affected by Taal’s volcanic activity in Santa Teresita, Batangas

(Eagle News)–Vice President Leni Robredo is scheduled to visit on Tuesday residents of Santa Teresita, Batangas who were affected by Taal volcano’s activity.

An advisory said  Robredo was scheduled to attend a briefing at Bulwagan Makulot at the San Fernando Air Base, Lipa, Batangas at 1 p.m.

At 2:45 p.m., she would go to Santa Teresita, Batangas.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said an alert level 4 remains hoisted over Taal volcano, which means an explosive eruption was imminent.

PHIVOLCS reiterated an evacuation from the volcano island and areas within the 14-kilometer radius of the volcano crater was needed.
