(Eagle News) — Expect heav(ier) traffic in some areas in Quezon City starting today, March 17.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has announced the conduct of road reblocking and repairs in parts of Mindanao Ave., Commonwealth Ave., Quirino Highway, and Congressional Ave. Extension starting 10 p.m.
In particular, there will be repairs on the northbound lanes of Mindanao Ave., from Tandang Sora Ave. to Mindanao Ave. Bridge.
The southbound lanes of Commonwealth Ave., from Don Jose St. to San Simon St. will be affected; as well as those of Quirino Highway from Mindanao Ave. to Bernardino St.
There will also be repairs on the eastbound lanes of Congressional Ave. Extension, fronting Shell-Miranila Gate.
“All affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, March 20,” the MMDA said.
It advised motorists to take alternate routes instead.
