Miami Heat team president Pat Riley expressed hopes Chris Bosh could play in the upcoming NBA season.

Bosh didn’t play this season because of his problem with blood clots.

According to Riley, if playing did not pose a health risk to the player, he hoped he could return to the basketball court.

He said Bosh could be like some athletes who play despite them having diagnosed with certain diseases.

Bosh is set to become a free agent in the upcoming season. This means that even if he doesn’t play on the court, he can still receive his $52-million salary.
