(Eagle News) – The University of the Philippines Office of Admissions (UPCAT – U.P. System) has announced  that it is postponing the release of the UP College Admissions Test (UPCAT) 2020 results, originally scheduled today, Monday, March 30.

In an announcement posted at the UP website on Saturday, March 28, the U.P. System said that it considered the situation of UPCAT applicants, who “will have different levels of access to online results in light of the Enhanced Community Quarantine”.

It also cited the need to suspend UPCAT processing, in consideration of employees working on the pre-release validation of UPCAT results, who live on different areas within and outside Metro Manila.

“The University of the Philippines has always been committed to ensuring the integrity and timely release of the UPCAT results”, the announcement added.

It did not mention a new date for the release of the results, but advised applicants to wait for further announcement.
