QC legislative building temporarily closed starting today after 3 city councilors, some staff members test positive for COVID-19

(Eagle News)–The Quezon City legislative building is temporarily closed starting today, July 15.

In an advisory, the local government said the temporary closure until July 19 was after three city councilors and several staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

The local government said the temporary closure was upon the approval of the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit.

The CESU is conducting “exhaustive contact tracing as appropriate and follow-up testing as necessary.”

“Everyone is encouraged to remain calm and vigilant as we continue the fight against COVID-19,” the local government said.

So far, the local government has confirmed 4537 COVID-19 cases.
